Употребление

Притяжательные местоимения указывают на принадлежность и отвечают на вопрос whose? - чей?

Существует две формы притяжательных местоимений. Основная форма ставится перед существительными.

my (мой, моя, мое, мои)
his (его)
her (её)
its (его, ее)
our (наш, наша, наше, наши)
your (твой, твоя, твое, твои, ваш, ваша, ваше, ваши)
their (их)

Вторая форма притяжательных местоимений употребляется без существительного.

mine (мой, моя, мое, мои)
yours (твой, твоя, твое, твои, ваш, ваша, ваше, ваши)
his (его)
hers (ее)
its (его, ее)
ours (наш, наша, наши)
theirs (их)

Указательные местоимения

Местоимения this (these) употребляются при указании на предметы (лица) находящиеся вблизи говорящего, а местоимения that (those) служат для указания на предметы (лица) более отдаленные от него. В русском языке на этот счет нет строгого правила и русское местоимение этот (эта, эти) может относиться и к более отдаленным предметам, или моментам времени.


Переводятся они следующим образом:
this (these) - этот (эти) that (those) - тот (те) Сочетание that’s может переводится на русский язык словом вот:
That's my grandson! - Вот мой внук!
