Past perfect passive

Время Past Perfect Passive (Прошедшее совершенное время, пассивный залог) используется, когда нам важен результат действия, произошедшего в прошлом, часто до какого-то другого события.

Пассивный залог показывает, что над подлежащим производилось какое-то действие. Акцент делается на сам результат, а не на исполнителе действия: он может быть очевиден, неважен или неизвестен. Чаще всего исполнитель вообще не упоминается.

С помощью этого времени можно говорить:

  • О событии или действии, которое произошло раньше всех остальных упомянутых;
  • О действиях или событиях, которые являются результатом еще более ранних событий;
  • О событиях, которые произошли в прошлом и продолжались до определенного момента.

Past Perfect Passive образуется в соответствии со следующими схемами:

Positive sentence:

Субъект (но не исполнитель действия) + had been + правильный глагол с окончанием -ed/третья форма неправильного глагола + все остальные слова

He had been taken from his parents before they called the police. – Его забрали от его родителей до того, как они позвонили в полицию.



Negative sentence:

Субъект (но не исполнитель действия) + had not been + правильный глагол с окончанием -ed/третья форма неправильного глагола + все остальные слова

The task had not been understood before the teacher explained it again. – Задание не было понятно до того, как учитель объяснил его еще раз.

General question (yes/no):

Had + субъект (но не исполнитель действия) + been + правильный глагол с окончанием -ed/третья форма неправильного глагола + все остальные слова

Had the article been published before she graduated? – Статья была опубликована до того, как она выпустилась?

Special question:

Вопросительное слово + had + субъект (но не исполнитель действия) + been + правильный глагол с окончанием -ed/третья форма неправильного глагола + все остальные слова

When had the bag been found? – Когда сумка была найдена?
