Privacy Policy for Gramaro.io

At Gramaro.io, accessible from https://gramaro.io, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Gramaro.io and how we use it.

If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Gramaro.io. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

Google sign-in and account data

Gramaro is an application for learning English grammar through explanations and interactive exercises. This policy covers the Gramaro website and mobile app, including information received when you choose to sign in with Google or connect Google to an existing account.

Information accessed and how we use it

Google sign-in requests access to your email address and basic profile. We use your email address to identify your account and your name, when available, to create your account display name. Google tokens are used to verify your sign-in. This lets you sign in, link an existing account and access your learning progress and subscription. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar or Google Contacts.

Storage and sharing

Your account email address and display name are stored in our account database, together with account settings. Learning progress and subscription records are associated with your account. Our authentication and account services exchange account information to provide these features. Our email delivery service processes your email address to send account and service messages. Google processes the sign-in itself under its own privacy policy.

Protection of your information

Sign-in information is transferred over HTTPS. Account features that require authentication use a verified session. Google sign-in does not give us your Google password.

Retention, disconnection and deletion requests

Account information is stored to allow you to return to your account and learning progress. You can revoke Google access in your Google Account permissions. Revoking access does not automatically delete information already stored in your Gramaro account. The Delete account option in account settings marks the account as deleted and replaces its display name; it does not by itself erase every stored record. To request removal of stored personal data or ask about records that remain, contact support@gramaro.io.

Consent

By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
